TONYA M. PARRAVANO
Tonya M. Parravano joined Haskin, Corrigan, Tabis & Parravano, P.C. in 2015.
Ms. Parravano
earned a B.S. in Family and Consumer
Economics from Michigan State University
and her J.D. degree, with high honors,
from the Illinois Institute of
Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law,
where she was an associate editor of the
Chicago-Kent Law Review and was
inducted into The Order of the Coif.
Most recently
a partner with Crowley, Barrett &
Karaba, Ltd., Ms Parravano began her
legal career representing financial
institutions and small businesses in
both transactional and commercial
litigation matters and expanded her
practice to include commercial
construction and development lending.
During the economic downturn, Tonya’s
background in commercial foreclosures
allowed her to easily transition her
practice to include commercial loan
restructuring and modification,
commercial foreclosures, OREO real
estate sales and other workout matters.
When she is
not working on a new loan or the
courtroom, Tonya enjoys making
presentations for private events or
seminars on various aspects of
commercial lending for the firm’s
financial institution clients and other
groups. Tonya continues to focus
her practice on representing financial
institutions and private business
entities in banking and commercial
finance transactions, commercial
mortgage foreclosures and collection
matters, commercial real estate
transactions, and small business
corporate matters.
Currently
residing in Naperville, Ms. Parravano is
also a co-owner of downtown Wheaton’s
premier florist and wedding and event
floral design firm, Andrew’s Garden.
She is active in the Wheaton Chamber of
Commerce and Downtown Wheaton
Association.
