Jeffrey S. Burns
Jeffrey S. Burns joined Haskin, Corrigan, Tabis & Parravano, P.C. in 2016.
After graduating from University of Miami, Ohio with a degree in Political Science, Jeff earned his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He began his career at Crowley Barrett & Karaba, Ltd. in Chicago, where he earned a partnership. We’re honored that Jeff joined our practice in 2016, bringing with him over 20 years of experience.
Jeff concentrates his practice in commercial litigation with a focus on creditor litigation including the workout of troubled loans, collections, bankruptcy proceedings and defensive litigation of lender liability claims, consumer fraud claims and banking operations claims. His experience also covers representation of manufacturers, real estate developers, contractors, material suppliers, commercial landlords, receivers and individuals in contract and tort claims.
Jeff is an active volunteer in various community organizations including serving on the Board of Directors for North Suburban Housing Corporation.
